STAR WARS 'BLACK SERIES' FIGURES

Well poodoo... Hasbro announced a new Star Wars action figure line called "Black Series". They will be 6-inches tall and super detailed, and cost $20 each. The first wave is X-Wing Luke, R2-D2, Darth Maul, and Sandtrooper.

They've released pics of Luke and he looks pretty sweet. Damnit, I might "have" to get one... some... all...

They should call it the "Divorce Series" (*Badabum-ching!*)

If they all look this good, I'll pick up Vader and Boba Fett.

...and TIE Fighter Pilot... and....

Apparently the "Star Wars Black" line is going to be 6" figures and 3 3/4" figures as well.

And I read this - get ready for the annual Comic Con mad dash to the Hasbro booth:

"Hasbro hinted that a San Diego Comic-Con exclusive will be a Boba Fett with Han Solo in Carbonite two pack, but didn't confirm it."

Ugh, so done with bullshit super limited con exclusive stuff. The demand is there - when the exclusives sell out on day 1, they should make more - they will sell. Instead, the douchebag collectors make money and the toy companies see none of that profit.

I'm still VERY VERY bitter about not getting my Cobra COmmander in Starscream... the guy in front of me got the last one!! Fuck you, Universe.

nah that's not Han's gun. Luke has one that is very similar. Although its not until Empire that we see it. I guess technically the figure is wrong, since he didn't have the gun in Star Wars(I won't call it A new Hope), and definitely didn't have it when he was getting ready to attack the death star....which the bg implies. The first time we see the gun in empire is when Luke pulls it out after artoo gets sucked under water on Dagobah, and then we see it again when hes on Cloud City.
