Daddy must have.

It's available for preorder HERE, but its a whopping $275!!!! Fuuuuuuccckkk.... but it will go fast and not be available in stores, or for long online I imagine. So if you want it, you gotta bite the bullet and COMMIT.

And my opinion is that Mattel can go F itself...

I was never a He-Man fan. I always found the cartoon a little....I'll just go ahead and say it, queer, even as a kid. However, there were two things about the toys that I liked, first, was Trapjaw. That was the only cool figure, imo. The next, was Castle Greyskull. It was a fine piece of '80s plastic! Otherwise, It was all robots, Star Wars and Joe for me. Personally Jim, I think your money is better spent on more Aliens stuff. :)

Even when I was a kid, I HATED the tv show! So terrible. I had gotten into He-Man when the toy line first hit the shelves. This was before the cartoon, with each toy came a sweet mini-comic with great art. The world of He-Man was more sword & sorcery and definitely more barbarian. There was no Prince Adam, Cringer, Orco or other Bullshit. It was awesome. THAT'S the He-Man I enjoyed.

There were maybe 3-4 mini-comics before Mattel retooled the franchise and pushed it more towards you finger kids and made it silly. Here are 3 of the comics I had that made me a fan:

Yes, those mini comics I remember. I seem to remember mini comics also for Starriors and also for a toy line called Team America, which were motorcycles and such, I had some of those as well.

Both of those went on to have actual Marvel full size comincs, Starriors a 4 issue mini series which I still have, but I am pretty sure there were mini comics for both of those toy lines. Anyway, yeah, I need to check out those He-Man ones. I always found it interesting how the comic and cartoon story lines differed so greatly, case in point, G.I.Joe, BIGTIME!

No kidding.

the Marvel GIJoe comics is what got me into comics as a child! My first issues were #21 (silent Snake Eyes issue), #27 (Snake Eyes vs Storm Shadow) and #31 (Destro vs Snake Eyes) - purchased at same time. From there I hunted out every single issue and then went monthly... 31 had been the new issue that month.

The GIJoe cartoon sucked compared. I was never into the cartoon and would often not even bother to watch it.

Wow, that's funny, the VERY first comic I got into, was GIJoe as well. Issues 26 & 27 were the first two I got and I was hooked!!! It took me years to acquire Silent Intrusion finally!! I still remember reading GIJoe every month, sitting on the school bus with my face buried in Larry Hamas fine writing. Sadly, when I was a late teen in college, I needed money, and I purged like 90% of my large comic collection. I regret it now, all my Joe comics went with the load I sold off. :( Then, Marvel started re-releasing the original series in book volumes, and the fcukers quite putting them out right in the middle!!!! After that, I swore off comics and have only bought a few TP since. Yes, I am bitter about the downfall of what I consider REAL comics. But that's another discussion all togther.

Wait! "Silent Interlude" is that damn issue, not Intrusion...time has a negative effect on my brain. :) One of the best covers in the whole series!
