MICHAEL BAY'S NINJA TURTLES

So Michael Bay's Production Company is making a new 'TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES movie, with Bay Producing.

Hey guess what?! Yep, Bay said he's making the Turtles be ALIENS from Outerspace.

In some way they are, if you think about the TCRI ooze. However, knowing Micheal Bay he will ofcourse completely ignore this. Hopefully the new series on nickelodeon will be better.

thusly totally removing the campy origin...and the mystery surrounding it's mutagenetic properties. Completely ignoring Eastman and Laird's vision....ahh who care they're gettin paid right?

Ok. I am really hoping he meant "Alien" in the sense that they're not human, foreign, etc. and they're still mutants. But with Bay, that's probably wishful thinking.

If he makes them "came from outer space" aliens, then yeah, he will have ruined our childhoods. That completely flies in the face of who/what the Turtles are, and it's a terrible deviation from the original story.

At the annual Nickelodeon upfront presentation last week, über-producer Michael Bay revealed details for Platinum Dunes' upcoming live-action "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie, including a new origin story for the half-shell heroes that is sure to raise the ire of diehard fans.

"When you see this movie, kids are going to believe one day these turtles actually do exist when we are done with this movie," said Bay. "These turtles are from an alien race, and they are going to be tough, edgy, funny and completely loveable."

Well he took a dump on Transformers why not take a dump on the Turtles.

The "kids are going to believe..." line seems a bit ominous. so he's going to brainwash kids! That goes way beyond the simple entertainment we normally see coming to us in the theater.

That guy is SUCH an idiot. When I was young, I always thought the TMNT lived around the block. Thats called IMAGINATION.

And loveable? In the first issue they killed the Shredder? They are not loveable, they are fierce fighters.

They should let that guy produce Armageddon 2,3,4,5,6 etc, just so he will never have the chance to ruin another awesome story.
