"MILK! MILK!! MILK!!!"

Oh, I forgot to tell you... on Monday's morning commute into work, I was listening to Mark & Brian on KLOS (radio station). They were doing their daily trivia game and one of the questions was: "In the film 'Aliens', what was used for the character Bishop's blood?"

It went around a couple times with everyone guessing incorrectly, and me screaming in traffic "Milk! MILK! MILK!!!!!"

Someone finally guessed it and then Mark said something to the effect of, "Oh yeah, that's right - Ripley knocks his head off and all the milk starts spraying everywhere." To which I sighed.... because that's the scene in 'Alien' with ASH, not Bishop. Come on, man!!! (hehehe)

lol. You think that was bad, you should have seen the "Attack of the Show" DVDuesday reviews of the 20th Anniversary collection of Mystery Science Theater 3000. The man responsible for the review got EVERYTHING WRONG.

Oh, want to know how I knew it was milk? I watched the special features on the Quadrilogy/Anthology set. No, they don't just say "Bishop's blood was milk", they say "We did take after take after take of throwing the upper portion of Bishop across the stage, and every time we had to do it, we had to pour cartons of milk on it for each take. I wonder if the footage of that is still anywhere."

And because Charles was involved, you dang right there's footage! Cue in Horner's action music and a montage of FX guys on top of ladders pouring milk from dozens of cartons all over dummy bishop and throwing him across the stage! Without a doubt one of the most memorable parts in the documentaries.
