THE WOLF MAN: THE REMAKE

Yay!!! Another remake!! You know me, I think all movies should be remakes and sequels!! *sigh* The next remake on the list is from Universal, where they are planning on remaking the 1941 horror classic THE WOLF MAN, which originally starrred Lon Chaney, Jr. The film is set for a 2008 release. Normally I would be JimSmashing all over this for various, obvious reasons. However, there are 2 reasons why there may be some glimmer of Hope for this movie:

1) Andrew Kevin Walker is writing it. He also wrote SE7EN.
2) Benicio Del Toro is cast as the lead role. Sweet.

With that said, I also thought the same thing when WOLF was coming out. "Jack Nicholson as the Wolfman?! How could it NOT suck??!!" yeesh. So, keep your fingers crossed everyone!!!!

Andrew Kevin Walker also wrote Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow...and we all know what a brilliant piece of cinema that was.

I'd say there's about a 50% chance of poop showers....and not the good kind.

JUST KIDDING! HAHAHAHA

(not about this movie sucking...about the liking of poop showers. You see, I don't like to have people...ok, I'll stop.)

Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow, eh?
Well crap. That movie was one of the worst pieces of monkey fecalsludge to come out of the 90s. It was the beginning of the end for Tim Burton, in my opinion.

Tim Burton's Sleepy Hollow is his Greatest Film Next to Batman and it is with-in the top 30 Greatest films of all time. If the wolfman turns out good or not remains to be seen but as for Sleepy Hollow watch it in HD and it will become one of your favorite movies too.
